Apprenticeship Training

Our permanent commitment to continuing education and growth is demonstrated through a formal apprenticeship training program, in conjunction with Associated Builders and Contractors.

The “Wheels of Learning” Glazier craft training curriculum was developed in the 1980’s and is registered with the United States Department of Labor. This three year program meets all state requirements for formal apprenticeship and prevailing wage work, including employer classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Upon successful completion of the program, craft workers are at the journey level for the “Glass & Glazing” trade and are awarded their BAT certificate.

We at JPI are extremely proud to offer a program that furthers education and offers additional opportunities for the students. All class presentations, specialized training and special certifications by industry and trade professionals are also open to all JPI employees.

Accredited Quality Contractor

The AQC designation indicates JPI’s commitment to safety, training, employee benefits and involvement in the community.

The AQC Pledge:

As contractors, we want business owners and the public in general to know that we care about our employees and the communities in which we build, and that we are prepared to demonstrate this concern through our actions. We are proud to be contractors and proud to be an integral part of this great industry. We want many “publics” to know that we are dedicated to the principles of free enterprise and that we are committed to providing our employees, now and in the future, with the skills they need to work safely and productively on the jobsite.
